Christmas Day was tons of fun!!! It started out bright and early (well, early to me at least. I'm not a morning person). We opened gifts with Brian's parents, his sister Jayne and her husband Kevin. Brian's parents gave us a wii, so Brian gave me wii fit which is just a blast and I am already very addicted (even if it does tell me I'm clumsy). Brian also gave me two really nice kitchen knives. Cooking is so much more fun when you can cut the food easily. I gave Brian a new gun that was both his Christmas and birthday gift, as well as some passes to a nearby gun range. Brian's parents also gave me a cover for my wii fit board, and a white balance for the camera. See the pictures below :)

After breakfast, we watched my niece open a few gifts. Then we went back to my parents house to open a few more gifts. My parents gave Brian a game for the wii, they gave me the wicked soundtrack and a ticket to go see Wicked when it comes to Utah (they would have given Brian the other ticket, but he happily passed on the offer). They also gave us some money which we have used to buy a new video camera.

Who needs new toys when you can have a box?

The final gift was from my mother-in-law to the grandkids. All of them but the two oldest were given homemade bedrolls. Brian's mom worked so hard on them and they were absolutly adorable. The fabric is The Very Hungry Caterpiller. They roll up and have straps and a handle so the kids can carry them with them. There is a built in pillow, and another blanket that can go over the top when they lay down on the bedroll. She also gave them all the book The Very Hungry Caterpiller and read it to them right there.
Shhhh. He's sleeping.

Later that night, we went back over to my parents so I could play games with my mom and sister. It was really a nice day and we are so blessed to live near family so we can spend Christmas celebrating with loved ones. After all, Christ's life made it possible for families to be eternal. I am so grateful that I have a wonderful family to spend eternity with.

You had a long day of family swapping and gift opening! It is nice to have family so close (even more meaningfully said after our 18 hour drive!)
That was such a fun day. We are very glad to get to see you so often now. Lucky you to be going to Wicked! How did you write on your pictures?
My Wii Fit tells me I'm clumsy all the time too!! haha.
I think those Hungry Caterpillar bedrolls are the cutest idea! They looked very fun.
Finally some pics of Christmas. I've been (patiently I might add) waiting for someone to post some of Christmas in Lehi. We missed bkfst this year and lots of snow and you all of course!
Tonya, I think you have always been clumsy! Love ya!
