Brian's Birthday

Brian turned the big 3-0 two days before Christmas. For his birthday, we flew down to San Diego and let him play Torrey Pines golf course........just kidding. I didn't actually get any pictures of his birthday, and I wanted a picture of him for this post, so I used this one from April :) His birthday was lots of fun though. We went down to his parents house to go out to dinner with them. The original plan was for it to be a low key dinner with just the four of us and a joint birthday party with his sister and the whole family later. But, two of his brothers were going to be out of town for the joint birthday party and his little sister was down, so they all came out to dinner with us. It was so much fun to have everybody there with us. We went to Olive Garden for dinner. Yummy. They even brought Brian a cake and sang Happy Birthday to him. In Brian's family, we have a tradition of holding hands while singing happy birthday, and Ethan has caught on quick. So, we were all holding hands around the table singing happy birthday in the middle of the restraunt. After dinner, we went back to Brian's parents house to watch the TCU/Boise bowl game. It was a great ending to the day to have TCU win. On the way home, Brian and I stopped at my parents house so they could wish Brian a happy birthday too. All in all, it was a great day.

If we were BIG BSU fans, we'd be affended that you were happy TSU won. BUT we don't care either way, Mike is still livin' on cloud 9 that the Utes won!

I had understood it that we were being the third wheele and I was feeling kinda bad for jumpin in on the dinner that night. It's funny how things worked out though :) It was definitly a yummy dinner :)
