Gratitude 8

I decided to just start from today on my list of things I'm grateful for instead of going back and listing previous days.

Day 8- Modern Communication

Isn't it great that anytime we want to talk to a loved one, they are just a phone call away. We don't even have to go home to use the phone. If I'm shopping and want to chat with someone, I can just pull my phone out of my purse. Letters are sent instantaniously through e-mail instead of waiting weeks for them to be delivered through the mail system. If we want to type back and forth there's always instant messaging. How cool is that. :) My mom's been in Chicago the last few days, and I miss her. It's been nice to be able to chat on facebook and the phone. It's comforting to know that even if Brian and I move out of state, mom will be just a phone call away.
