On Saturday, I went to the zoo with my family while Brian took the PCAT. Thank you soo much for inviting me Mom. I had tons of fun watching my nieces and nephew enjoy the zoo, and it kept my mind off how Brian's test was going. Brian thinks he did pretty good on the test, so now we just wait 4-6 weeks for the results. Thanks everyone for your prayers and thoughts. We may continue to request them through the application process.
Like any good kid, the first thing everyone wanted to see was the playground. I'm not sure how I feel about sliding out a snakes mouth, but it's better than the giant spider and spider web on the playground (no pictures of those, they were too scary for me to look at for long.)

The little chicks!!
Looking at the swans.
Dad showing Jack the elephants.
Hanging out with Grandma.
Jack loved the reptiles and bugs.
Kamryn loved the Meercats, until one started scratching at the glass. That was just a little too startling for a one year old.
We got to see a lot of the animals at feeding time. It's so much fun to go then, because they are all excited. We just thought the Meercats were happy to see us, until the zookeeper took food into their cage and they ran straight for it.
Kamryn was so sweet to pose for her Aunt Tonya every time I wanted a picture (which was quite often. I came home with over 200 pictures from the zoo. You guys are lucky I narrowed them down).
Look, Kamryn posing for me again.
Heather taught Maddy how to "Rock On." Now point her in the direction of the nearest concert and she's ready to go.
I know, I know. It's a blurry picture. The look on Kamryn's face is so adorable, I just had to include it.
One more shot of Kamryn waiting patiently for me to take her picture. In my defense, I was on a mission from Steph, and nobody else was too into having their pictures taken.
Okay, you have to endure one animal picture. I've never seen bears wrestle before, so I had to include this one shot. We had fun watching them from the safe side of the fence.
The highlight of the zoo was the conservation carousel. Who cares about the tigers or elephants, we want the merry-go-round!!!

Playing on the rocks. Shhh don't tell their mom that we were letting them jump around on them.

On a non-zoo note, this is what our crazy dog does every time the car door gets opened around her. She jumps in and sits at the drivers seat. I don't think those paws steer very well though.

Your nieces and nephew are sooooo cute! Poor Kota, she just loves the car. When can she come visit the pups? Tomorrow? When will you be down next?
Jack loved looking at all the pics with me! He asked me where the picture of Grama was? Ithought Maddy was signing I love you, Rock on is so funny. And climbing is all the kids do! Love all the pics esp the slides! Missed seeing you, hopefully in a month for Turkey Day!
Looks like it was a great zoo trip! Very fun distraction.
Wonderful pictures, Tonya! It was so fun having you with us. Thanks for documenting so well!
Ethan was checking out your new website...He loves the picture of Kota driving. I think he was jealous...he loves to drive.
