Yoga

So, I thought I'd give Yoga a try this weekend. It's supposed to be relaxing and calming, right? I figured that with full time work and full time school, I could use some relaxation time. I bought a Yoga DVD to use at home because I am much too clumsy to attempt yoga where anyone could see *ahem* laugh at *cough cough* me. I got through about 15 minutes of the dvd yesterday before I just couldn't figure the poses out and gave up. I went through the day thinking "what a waste, I'm not even sore". Ha ha, till I woke up this morning. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought Brian kicked me in the ribs last night. :) Oh well, at least I know it worked. Anyone want a yoga dvd though ;)

It gets easier. I used to go to Yoga with my mom and the lady was nice enough to tell us "easier" poses ... but it does get easier. It's really strange and embaressing (I was in a big class) but it does get easier :) Thankfuly my mom wasn't good at it either so we would just chuckle at eachother the whole time ... I'm not sure the rest of the class appreciated it :)

it is supposed to be very calming but I'm like you and have a hard time grasping the concept. Try it again, maybe you'll improve! Do you want workout video's for Christmas??? hahah, i've got a whole shelf full!

Hi Tanya! I just found your blog through Emily's! It's so fun to see what you are doing! I haven't seen you since Christmas. Yoga huh? I actually like going to a class. The trick is to at the begining of the class let the teacher know you are new. That way you will get lots of help and don't worry, no one will laugh. Everyone in the class probably feels as silly as you do. On your next 100 visits, just keep telling the teacher your new! Oh, and wear a shirt that will tuck in! (can you tell I've had an experience here...)

I can't figure out those yoga poses either...

By the way, thanks for offering to lend me cricut cartridges! I actually use my moms cricut, but I'll let you know if I want to borrow some. Thanks!
