Utah

I was driving around Sandy today, doing my business development for work, and I came to a conclusion. I love living in Utah. I love being surrounded by beautiful mountains. I love the clean feel of downtown Salt Lake, instead of the run-down feel of some other cities like LA (I know big size difference, but still). I love being so close to family, so close to temples, so close to church buildings. I love being able to go on vacation within 4 hours from home, and have it be somewhere cool like Bryce, Moab, or Zion's. I love having a good mix of neighbors that share my beliefs, and neighbors to learn different new ways of thinking from. I love the way Salt Lake tries to be sophisticated, but it still has the small town feel. I love Park City. I love being able to go camping 1/2 hour away. I love Sugarhouse and Temple Square. I admit, Utah isn't perfect, but it's perfect for me.

i'm so glad you have positive things to say about utah.

i often feel like i'm one of a handful of people who love living here.

sure,it's hot some days and cold others.

but the 4 seasons, the mountains, the deserts, the tetons close by...it's a perfect place for me too.

Not quite. Cyprus Credit Union all the way down in South Jordan. It's miserable to drive so far, and no feasable UTA options yet. But it's a good job that pays the bills.
