Angels

I should have posted this last week, but better is late then never, right.

Today at work I was helping a lady out to her car with her carts of groceries. This is one of my favorite parts of my job, walking through Wal-Mart and finding people that need help. It really is true what they say about service being better for the person giving the service. But that's not really what my post is about. As I finished helping her load the groceries into her car, she told me I was her angel today. This got me thinking about angels and how many women have been my angels here on Earth. The sisters in my ward that seem to know when I need an extra boost that day, so they make sure to sit by me or take a second out of their days to see how I'm doing. An assistant manager at work who keeps things running when I'm gone and stays supportive of decisions from upper management, even if we both know it's a crazy decision. Wonderful neighbors who go out of their way to say hi to me. Supportive family. I can't even begin to explain what angels my family has been for me. My mother who is a listening ear when I need one, a sister that has been my best friend her whole life, and wonderful in-laws (sister, brother, and parent in-laws) who have treated me like family and always made me feel welcome. And most of all, an amazing husband who has seen me through so much, and for some reason, still looks at me the same way he did on our wedding day. I'm so grateful for him, and for all the angels in my life. I just wanted to take a second and say Thank You for being there for me. I hope I can return the favor one day.
