Brian and I have been up American Fork Canyon camping for the last couple of days. It's been great to escape the heat of the valley, and who can ask for a better time than good food and great company.

One of my favorite things about camping is hanging out around the campfire. 
Kota loved coming camping with us. She stayed in our tent with us, and amazingly, she didn't try to kick us off the air mattress at night. I'm sure she was relieved to cool down a little. She even played the part of guard dog well when Brian's dad brought the other dog past our tent in the middle of the night.

I love camping--we need to get the parents to do a family reunion and get us all there! Looks like so much fun--the little red head is so cute!
I agree - we need the "parents" to do a family reunion! I was just thinking about that last night. The Hansen reunions we had camping were all so super fun! And I think you kids all have good memories of those camping trips. I did survive the Mother Daughter campout this year, so maybe it isn't so impossible an idea.
