Lehi Roundup

It's roundup days in Lehi. I got to actually go to the celebrations this morning. Normally I end up working over the roundup. We went to the rodeo with Brian's family last night. It was sooo much fun. I'm really disappointed that we decided not to take our camera with us. We had awesome seats (thanks Jayne). They had all of the typical rodeo attractions...calf tying, bareback riding, bull riding, and my favorite, barrel racing. They also had some dirt bikes doing jumps. Those would have made for some cool pictures. My sister-in-law, Hailey, did actually get this picture of Brian and I at the rodeo. Thanks Hailey.

I went to the parade this morning with my mom, my brother, his wife, and their daughter.
Here's a picture of my cutie-patootie niece waiting for the parade to start. Once she saw the camera in my hands, she "posed." My sister in law says that she has the same pose in all of the pictures of her when she was this age.
Another picture of my niece.
Family picture time. My brother, his wife, and their daughter.

At the beginning of this week, on of the Lehi police officers was shot during a traffic stop. We are all so glad that he survived, and looks to be on the road to a good recovery. This is just one of the many tributes to Captain Terry this week. We are all so grateful for the service he has given and the service that all police officers give every single day. And and extra special thanks to my brother for serving on the police force. I'm proud of you Bill.

What a cool parade! I haven't been to one for a long time. I am glad that you guys had a good time there.

Maddy was jealous of being at the parade--they just don't do those around here at least that we know of. Did they throw candy too? That was always my favorite when I was a kid!

Yup they threw candy. Maybe we all could go to the parade on the 24th?

Sometimes leaving camera at home is not a bad idea. You can just enjoy the rodeo.:) -Yao
