Wow, so can I say I can't believe I've let it go this long without posting. Aaack. Anyway, here's a quick catch-up of some of the highlights for the last couple months.
Brian and I walked for graduation from the University. We both still have a couple classes left, but the ceremony is only held once a year. We're almost official college graduates!!!!
So many people that we care about came to support us. It really meant a lot to have all of you there. Thank you!!
In June, Brian and I took a trip to Yellowstone with his family. My mom was able to let us rent a townhouse from the doctors that she works for. It was such a fun (but cold) vacation, even if I did spend a lot of it sick.
These are just a few of my favorite pictures. To see all the pictures go here. Look at all three galleries because there are some awesome pictures.
The elk wasn't so happy about posing for the camera, and let Brian know by being a typical teenager and sticking it's tongue out.
One highlight of the trip was coming across this grizzly not too far off the road eating an antelope. He didn't seem to mind the crowd too much as long as we kept our distance. This was a once in a lifetime animal sighting.
After dinner, he wandered off to digest and do some people watching.
We were lucky enough to spot every animal on the park map, except my elusive moose. One of the new ones for this trip was a big horn sheep ram. He was right off the road too. I love his curly horns. Overall we also ended up seeing 18 bear. 2 of which were pretty close.
But, the best thing that happened to us in the last two months was finding out we are finally expecting a baby!!!
Brian and I are so happy that we will be welcoming a new baby to our home this January (hopefully not December).
Here's my 4 month pregnant belly. It's so fun to see the baby start to pop out. And I'm pretty sure that I'm even starting to feel a few flutters here and there. We find out in a few weeks what it is, so we'll keep you posted on that as well.

Congrats on graduating!
And getting some super awesome pictures in Yellowstone.
But mostly...HUGE CONGRATS on the baby news! I got big happy chills all over when I read that, and saw that little baby belly. So awesome!
It is funny that you don't want the baby to come in December, because I was due with Chloe on Jan 11 and we were SO hoping she would come in Dec and be a tax break. She did, and paid for herself. When is your due date?
Congrat again!
Brilliant, BRILLIANT news!!!!
Thats a great reason not to have heard from you!
I'm so happy for you both !
What a wonderful post! I am sooooo excited for you guys to be having a baby. I can't wait to hear what the gender is!
Love the baby bump! So, so, SO happy for you!
Seriously LOVE the bump! You better post more pics along the way. It is one of my favorite things to see. Plus look at your smile!!
You look so cute with your little baby bump:) I'm so excited for you! Isn't being pregnant so much fun!
Yay! I'm so glad you updated your blog! Baby tummies are so exciting!
Smart move on graduation early! I waited the two quarters to walk and was practically DUE! Wrong decision for me! HAHA! :) CONGRATS on being almost done! And CONGRATS on being pregnant! I'm so excited for you! :)
Mike and I also graduated together. Fun doing the work seperate but getting the credit together. AnD LOVE the baby bump picture. Keep them coming, esp with #2 you'll wish you didn't show as soon as you did with #1. Did that make sense? #2 pokes out lots faster then #1 but heck who's worried about # 2 now!
Oh, such a cute picture! Loved them all, but the baby is my favorite! We're so so so thrilled!
So many happy days. Can't wait to meet our new cousin!!! Good to have you back in the blogging world.
