Our Labor Day was spent enjoying the last few rays of summer sun. The day started out with joining my family for target shooting.
Heather's boyfriend convinced her to actually shoot a gun. I'm guessing she must kinda like the guy.

Hmm, It looks like I need a little more practice. Out of 6 shots, only 2 even came close. I guess the deer are safe with me pulling the trigger.
The rest of the afternoon was spent with Brian's family having a birthday barbecue and playing games outdoors.
Nathan quickly learned that Brian can be a sore sport.

Then it was the girls turn to play. We're a lot less entertaining to watch then the guys. No competitiveness here. We even cheer for the other team.

And just like that, summer was over.

Loved that you started it with us. Thanks for coming. It was a fun day! Wonderful pictures! I love your lake photo and that butterfly with the blue sky is terrific! But keep in mind, this is Utah. Summer really isn't over yet. At least I sure hope not, because I don't remember it ever really starting.
Where did you go shooting at? Looks like fun, we should go shooting sometime.
