On one of my rare Saturdays off work, we received a phone call from Brian's brother inviting us to tag along on their trip to the zoo. Brian's sister was able to come along too, so we ended up with a big fun group. It's so much fun to see our nieces and nephew watch the animals.
What trip to the zoo is complete without drinking from a Lion's mouth?
This bird show is one of the best I've seen with a wide variety of birds, and a lot of low flyovers the audiance.

Any day is a great day to be at the zoo. I miss those money things where you'd putin a penny and get a smashed one. Guess they haven't had those for years, love the lion fountain.
What a fun day. Giraffes are a favorite - and the big statue elephant that squirts water. I think it's time to go to the zoo again.

To tell you the truth, I love the zoo! Animals are so fun to watch. I've never seen a bird show but it sounds awesome! I'm glad that you guys had a good time there!
Steve the bird man is my neighbor. He gets to keep alot of the bird in his backyard during the off season. It's so fun to see the birds and hear them during the day. The kids love to go over and peek at them.
HOW FUN! i totally remembr the Lion drining fountain! Isn't it by the monkeys? I haven;t been there forever- I will need to take my kids in november when we come to utah (if it isn't too cold by then LOL )
