Yellowstone- Mammoth

I can't believe it has already been two weeks since our trip to Yellowstone. A big thank you to Bob and Joni for inviting us along, and to Joni's family for letting us intrude on their family vacation. We had a wonderful time, and came back with hundreds of pictures. Don't worry. I have whittled them down a little, but there are still loads of favorites. Today's installment is Mammoth Hot Springs. The past few years we've been up there, the springs have looked like they were dying. This year, the spring runoffs made Mammoth vibrant with color. What a reassurance to see.

Oh, they do look tons happier! There is one place on earth where the feeling we live on a genuine living planet really hits you, and it's at Yellowstone. Can't wait to see the rest of your pictures!
