Gratitude 11

#11- Cars
Yesterday was Christmas shopping day. It started at the U of U bookstore for Brian's pajamas, then on to the UPS store to mail my pajamas back (wrong color). After that I drove all the way down to State St and 72nd S to pick up some fabric at Hancock fabrics. But, there was no Hancock fabrics there anymore (was there ever? Or is my memory failing me?) After the discouragment of not finding the fabric store I wanted, I decided to try JoAnne's. There's one in Brickyard plaza, but I thoug I might have remembered one at Fort Union. No such luck. In driving around the Ft Union area, I ended up back at State Street, and in desperation decided to try a little fabric store called The Cotton Shop that I saw. As luck would have it, they had the fabric I needed, so I bought that and headed back home. On my way home I stopped at Michaels to pick up some things for a few other gifts. Unfortunatly, they didn't have everything I needed, so I'll have to go back. That took, well, the whole day. What does it have to do with my gratitude, you might ask? Well, thank goodness I had a car to do al that running with. It would have been quite difficult on a horse.
