Gratitudes 4, 5,& 6

Okay, I've been a slacker. I know it. I had a huge writing assignment and presentation due this morning, so blogging has taken a back seat. So, now that I'm back I'll post all three days of gratitude's today.

Day 4- Good Music
Music really does speak to the soul. Sunday was just another confirmation of that. Music and the Spoken Word was wonderful Sunday morning. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang one of my favorite songs (Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing). What a wonderful way to start the day!!! The choir performed in Sacrament meeting on Sunday as well. They sang a medley of "As Sisters in Zion", and "Armies of Helaman." Can, I just say, wow!!! I fought back tears the entire time (and I don't cry in public, so that's pretty amazing. In fact, music is about the only thing that will make me cry.)

Day 5- A Patient Husband

I know, I already posted about how great Brian is, but that was about being grateful for eternal marriage. This time, it's about his seemingly never ending patience with me (I hope never ending. I don't plan to push the limit though). He is so great to me!! Even when I'm being cranky because I have a HUGE paper due in the morning and a presentation on the paper that I haven't even started. Brian patiently lets me gripe and whine, and then he promptly suggests pizza for dinner. What a great guy!!

Day 6- A Finished Writing Paper

My big, final project for writing is done. Completely finished. Thank you Mom for proofreading it for me. I would so much rather have you find mistakes than my professor. The project was a recommendations report. I chose to analyze Wells Fargo, and suggest improvements they could make to gain a greater market share. It was more difficult than I expected, but I gained a lot of confidence in myself and my abilities to make business recommendations. So, in the end it was worth the work. I presented my findings today in class. Our grades for the presentation portion were handed out immediately afterward. I received a 94%. Not perfect, but good enough for me. Now I can focus all of my studying on my three other classes.

Congratulations on a job well done. I always love checking in on your blog. It makes me think of what I'm thankful for, too.
