Well, after what seemed like ages of sewing, I've finally finished making Brian's Christmas stocking. Now I'm a little disappointed that I don't get to hang it up for 6 more months. I guess that gives me plenty of time to finish mine.
On a bummer note, my car broke down again today, so it's back to the shop. One plus is that Brian was able to fix the exhaust system with a patch job for $6.00 instead of the $1500.00 that we were quoted to replace the part from the repair shop. Two tips: 1) never buy European 2) If you do buy European, never never take it to the dealership for repairs. Luckily when the car broke down it was close to our favorite mechanic, so we can have it towed there. Hopefully he can replace the starter for a much more reasonable price than the $500 we were quoted at the dealership.

Your stocking looks great! That's awesome. I always start projects and then never finish them. When I was like 12 I started cross stitching a Christmas stocking, let's just say it's still not done. Corey said he wouldn't mind looking at your starter and seeing if he could help you replace it. He says some cars are easier than others, but it's a lot cheaper when you do it yourself. He fixed our starter not too long ago.
Wow. That stocking looks AMAZING! Branch and I get the cheapos every year and decorate it for each other but that stocking is so nice!
Some things become heirlooms. I think this qualifies! Great job!
I'm so glad you got that stocking done and it looks awesome! Great job!
