California Day One

Okay, so I know our trip to California was AGES ago, but I'm finally getting around to posting pictures. I learned that Brian's computer won't let me upload to blogspot, so I just barely got the pictures transfered to my computer
So we left for our trip on a Friday. We spent Friday night at Buffalo Bills just off the California/Nevada border. Then Saturday morning we were up early to try to reach Sea World by noon. It was hot and crowded there, so we only got to see a few shows and that was about it. We did wait in line for the ride Journey to Atlantis for about 45 minutes but it broke down about when we were about 2-3 minutes from the front of the line. BUMMER. But overall, it was pretty fun to go to Sea World. The shows were awesome (however, I have decided that nothing beats seeing killer whales in the wild.)
The first animal we saw at Sea World. Wahoo!I decided on this trip that flamingos are actually quite a freaky looking animal. They kneel with their feet in front of them, and big birds on long gangly legs are just too weird to be cool.
The seal show was actually quite funny but......

I actually decided that seals can be a freaky animal too. I guess it's a good thing I live such a sheltered life.Polar Bears are still on my cute animals list though...even if they do eat cute little animals.Da du...Da du....Da du Da du DaduDaduDaduDadu Aaaagh (freaky Jaws music)Happy Feet!!!! Actually, penguins look like they are flying when they're swimming. It's pretty cool.

High flying dolphins. (not the one that recently died... I think that one was in Florida)
And what pictures of Sea World would be complete without Shamu

How fun, I feel so out of the loop didn't even now you went to California or to Sea World for that matter. You look great next to the freaky flamingos-they are strange. And your big trip back East is coming soon. Travel well and I am glad you are feeling good!
